Ahead of Manchester United’s quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich, reports have emerged that Toni Kroos is keen to switch life in Germany for England.
There are at least ten players at Bayern Munich who earn more money than Kroos with him currently earning £65k-a-week, which is some way short of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben’s £165k-a-week. United would be prepared to offer him £200k-a-week.
Felix Kroos, the player’s brother, revealed last month that United were the ‘team of his dreams’ and that he had spoken about the prospective deal with Toni.
“We have already talked about it,” he said. “Manchester has been the team of my dreams since I was a child. However, I don’t give him any advice. He will take a good decision for himself. There are worse situations than having to decide something like that.”
