BID ACCEPTED – Arsenal Reach Agreement To Sign Karim Benzema

Reports from the British Media today says the Gunners have reached an agreement with Karim Benzema.  Benzema has been said to be heavily linked with a move away from Real Madrid and was said to be Arsenal’s main priority, but latest Unofficial sources says the French International will continue his career at Arsenal despite the fact that Madrid said the striker is not for sale.

But according to the British Media Arsene Wenger has refuted any news of negotiations said to be going on with Real Madrid over Benzema’s  transfer.

When Arsene Wenger was asked about a likely move for the Madrid striker, he answered, “I don’t know where that story has come from. But that’s not happening at the moment.”

Other reports also had it that Madrid are ready to offload Karim Benzema as their newly appointed manager Rafa Benitez says he will not be considered as a first choice striker for the upcoming season.

Benzema joined from Lyon in 2009 penning a 6year deal with Real Madrid. He scored 15 league goals last season and was only bettered by Cristiano Ronaldo at the club. He is a very talented Forward, who Is strog, powerful and a potent finisher. He is believed to be one of the best strikers in Europe.
