BID ACCEPTED – Manchester United To COMPLETE Yet Another Signing Within Days

After signing Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger; two of Europe’s most gifted midfielders, the club is set to compete the signing of Nicholas Gaitan of Benfica, according to the Metro.

According to the report, the Red Devils have agreed a €30 million with Benfica, with the midfielder now set to move to Old Trafford.

Gaitan has been on the club’s radar for a while now, and a move to England might just be a dream come true for both parties. However, it remains to be seen how a Man United side that already boast of an avalanche of top quality midfielders plan to manage them all, especially with the Argentine set to join the long list.

30 million is considered a bargain as the Metro reports that it is actually lower than Gaitain’s release clause. If the reported fee is true, then it represents a significant step forward for Ed Woodward, who only two seasons ago struggled to sign some key targets, which of course, drew the ire of the Man United fans all over the world.

What is now left if for the Red Devils to agree personal terms with the player; and hopefully this won’t be as difficult as getting Benfica to lower their asking price.

The deal, according to the paper, will be announced as soon as PSG and United agree on the transfer of Angel Di Maria from the EPL to the French Ligue 1 before the transfer window closes next month.

I guess we may just have to wait a couple of more days to confirm this.
