Bid Accepted – Next Thierry Henry Moves to Arsenal, 18-year-old Star Striker Rejected Man City in the Favor of Gunners

Arsenal are considering a £2 million bid for Charlton’s young striker Ademola Lookman, according to the Sun. The young striker has been the subject of interest at Arsenal and Manchester City thanks to his current stunning performance.

Lookman has scored three goals for Charlton since making his first appearance last November, and is regarded one of the most sensational young talents of English football.

Despite the interest from both Arsenal and Manchester City, Charlton interim manager Karel Fraeye insisted that Lookman will not be leaving the club during this transfer window.

“Ademola is on a two-and-a-half year deal already,” he explained.  “We are doing what we have to do. I think we are very close to where we want to be. Ademola has just started first-team football. He’s started very well but he’s got so many steps to take. I’m sure he won’t be sold in January and will be here in the long-term.

“He’s a smart boy and I think Charlton is a good club for him. If he is looking for a club to develop at, he’s at the best club for him and he knows that.”
However, latest reports state Charlton accepted £2m bid for their talent and Ademola Lookman will move to Arsenal this week.
