David De Gea Blasts Van Gaal

Man Utd Star Blasts LVG For Transfer Of £200,000-A-Week Star

Former Ukraine Winger and Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis has attributed the failures of Manchester United to the tactical blunders of Dutch manager Louis Van Gaal.

He tongue lashed Van Gaal for United’s current style of play which he said was robotic and too pragmatic. He said United lacked some natural wingers in  their play and was furious at Van Gaal selling of Van Persie, which he claims affected they game.

Van  Persie is among the several players exited by Van Gaal during the summer – RVP was sold to Fernabache for €6.3M but Kanchelskis thinks Van Persie poor performance last season was attributed to the world and so he should not have been sold.

Last season for Van Persie was particularly bad. He had several injuries and managed to score 10 goals in 29 appearances for the Red Devils. Given his age, Van Gaal thought he was on the decline and no need to retain his services.

The Dutch forward ended the 2012/2013 Premier League season as the highest goal scorer but he became a shadow of himself when Louis Van Gaal took over. It is believed that his absence is part of the reason United are failing to score as they should.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will play West Bromwich Albion this weekend. They will be looking to end their goal draught as they have failed to score in their last three Premier League matches.
