Chelsea will reignite their interest to sign Brazilian left-back Alex Telles in the January transfer window, according to Daily Express.
The Galatasaray defender is currently on loan at Turkish Super Lig club Inter Milan. The Blues were reported to be interested in the player during the summer, but a move couldn’t materialize.
The 23-year old has featured in 11 league games for the Roberto Mancini’s side and has helped them to the summit of the Serie A table.
He is an offensive minded full-back, and he is highly regarded in his country. Playing with Gremio, he rewarded with a place in the 2013 Brasileirão Team of the Year. Last season, he helped Galatasaray won the Turkish league.
He was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge to be a replacement for Filipe Luis, but eventually joined his former Galatasaray boss Mancini at San Siro. His current loan deal includes a buyout option for €8.5 million for Serie A side.
The Turkish side will be forced to sell, if a right price is offered to them by Chelsea.
