Borussia Dortmund superstar reportedly refusing new contract and moving to Liverpool to reunite with Klopp
Ilkay Gundogan has been on the radar of many European clubs for some time now and Liverpool have seemed especially keen trying to lure him away from Borussia Dortmund in the last few seasons.
Reports coming from Borussia Dortmund suggest that although Gundogan has repeatedly told media that he is happy at Dortmund and has no plans to leave, that could all change with Klopp at the helm of Liverpool.
Liverpool have been trying to tempt Gundogan to make the move for quite a few years now and now they have Jürgen Klopp in charge, who managed Gundogan at Dortmund, the transfer might finally be realized.
Manchester United and Manchester City are also extremely interested in securing the services of Gundogan who has been capped by German national side 16 times, scoring on 4 occasions.
Juventus and Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on the midfielder, famed for his accurate passing and his creativity in the oppositions half, but Liverpool seems the ideal location and they remain favourite.
