Branislav Ivanovic Could Be Set For SHOCK Chelsea Exit After Poor Performances
Reports making the rounds in London are claiming that the Stamford Bridge outlet are yet to tie down Branislav Ivanovic future to the club.
The 31-year-old Serbian came under immense criticism following his dismal show-offs in the Blues opening games of the season where he was the major culprit for their defensive woes. Following the acquisition of Baba Rahman from Augsburg, the teeming fans of Chelsea have are still calling for Chelsea to step up their chase of John Stone which will eventually call into question, Ivanovic’s future for the London club.
Ivanovic has just a year left on his contract but Chelsea are yet to hand him an extension even though they have a policy of given one-year extension to players above 30years.
It is understood that several top European clubs are rooting for his signature and have been carefully observing the situation.
Ivanovic joined Chelsea from Lokomotiv Moscow in the January of 2008 and remained consistent for the club over the years until his recent poor performances that is attributed to a quick decline due to his age.
However, the Blues skipper been through similar path and wasn’t offered extension until the end of last season. Ivanovic is keen on extending his stay at Stamford Bridge because he doesn’t favour a move.
