BREAKING – Atletico Madrid President Speaks on Diego Simeone Taking Over Chelsea in Summer

Atletico president Enrique Cerezo has warned Chelsea that they should forget about signing Diego Simeone as the Argentinean has a long-term future at the club.

The Mirror has previously claimed that Blues owner Roman Abramovich sees Simeone as a long term replacement to Mourinho, and will try to bring him to Stamford Bridge in summer.

But, looks like that is not going to happen, as Cerezo told AS: “I have had the fortune to know Cholo [Simeone] during the different spells he has had at Atletico: as a player, then when he returned again and finally in this current one as the manager.”
