Breaking: Liverpool Just Blocked the Move for 19-Year Old Talent

Liverpool has blocked Watford’s move for their youngster Jerome Sinclair, according to reports. The 19-year old looked set to seal his move to the Hornets, but now it seems like that the move won’t happen anymore.

The Reds have already turned down one bid from Hornets, and now Daily Mirror reports that the Merseysiders plan to keep the player until the end of the season.

Sinclair is in the last year of his contract and despite several attempts from Liverpool, he has refused to sign a contract extension with the club.

Liverpool stand to lose the player for free in the summer transfer window.

He appeared as a substitute in the FA Cup draw with West Ham, and the latest development could suggest that Liverpool are still hopeful that they can convince the player to sign a new deal with them.

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores recently admitted his interest in the youngster.

“Sinclair is the kind of player I like for Watford. He has the qualities that we need. He has the skill and conditions to come here,” he told reporters.
