Breaking News – £35m Chelsea Bid ACCEPTED For John Stones, To Make Debut vs Crystal Palace

News breaking this night has it that Chelsea have had a bid accepted by Everton for the signing of John Stones. According to the reports, a new £35 million bid from Chelsea was accepted by Everton for Stones after the player handed in a written transfer request.

It was initially reported that Chelsea will table a £40 million bid for the player but that seems to be wide off the mark as newer reports claim the bid is actually £35 million which Everton has forcefully accepted.

Everton are said to be already searching for a replacement. Swansea’s Ashley Williams and Ramiro Funes Mori of River plate has also been linked to Everton as a potential replacement for John Stones. Aside Chelsea, Manchester United are also said to be interested in the player.

Should the reports of a bid been accepted be true, Stones will likely get his debut for Chelsea against Crystal Palace as there are already reports that Jose Mourinho will drop John Terry after his woeful start to the season.
