Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been linked with a summer move to Real Madrid by various media outlets. Sky Sports’ Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has now given credence to the reports by claiming that the Belgian is interested in a move to the La Liga club and is pushing for a summer transfer.
However, any possible move will depend on the outcome of Real’s appeal against the transfer ban that has been imposed on the club by FIFA.
“Real Madrid will look to maybe sign Eden Hazard [if their transfer ban is suspended in the summer],” Balague wrote in his column for Sky Sports.
“As it stands, the Hazard talk is more coming from the player’s end,” Balague added.
“Real Madrid are open to the idea, and Zinedine Zidane likes him, but it really depends on how much money they have available and if other players are sold or not.”
