Breaking news – Manchester United to complete £40 double signing of Chelsea targets

With just 20 days left to the opening of the January transfer market of 2016, Manchester United will not be left out as Louis Van Gaal still looks to bolster his injury-inflicted squad. Reports have emerged that the Dutch tactician is preparing a transfer war-chest of £40 million for Southampton duo Ryan Bertrand and Sadio Mane and the Dutch tactician will attempt the complete the deal in January, this report is according to the Metro.

United were heavily involved in the summer transfer market but they failed to sign Mane despite being heavily linked with a move to United at that time. The player was even spotted at Old Trafford but he might become a player of Manchester United in January. Mane has been impressive for the Saints beginning this season. He has scored seven goals in all competitions this season with several assist.

Meanwhile, United have their first choice left Luke Shaw sidelined with injury and not return until the end of the season. However, Rojo was playing the left back position until he also picked up an injury and that has led Van Gaal rooting for the signature of Betrand. United have been hugely decimated with injuries. Hence, the obvious need of reinforcement in January if they must keep their title ambitions alive in January.
