Rodriguez to Man Utd

Breaking news: Real Madrid set to sell £100m duo to Man Utd, fans will go crazy

Real Madrid are reportedly willing to let two of their superstars leave this summer with Manchester United looking to capture their signatures. Real Madrid will listen to offers for German World Cup winner Toni Kroos and Colombian sensation James Rodriguez.

However, should such talented players become available; interest will grow and many European giants will look to flex their financial muscles and challenge United for the outgoing pair.

With Manchester United still finding their feet since Sir Alex Fergusons great tenure and sitting on the outskirts of a Champions League place; It a begs the question, will world class players be willing to join? This has not stopped the Red Devils from pursuing the pair.

James enjoyed a stellar debut season after signing from Monaco in the summer of 2014 after an exhilarating World Cup performance.  James has struggled to reignite the same stature this season.

He has fallen out of favour with new boss Zinedine Zidane having previously had problems with former coach Rafael Benitez. Rodriguez was left out of a crucial semi-final  Champions League tie against Manchester City. With Ronaldo out injured, one would think James would have been an ideal replacement, to no avail. With Benzema exiting at the interval due to an injury, still no James.

Toni Kroos, an outstanding midfielder with the ability to build up play from the back could be instrumental to any title chasing side. He has the ability to link up play and provide medium to long range passes and shots at goal. Having inked a 6-year deal upon his arrival in the summer of 2014; It seems the highly-rated German is looking for greener pastures.
The duo will certainly not be allowed to leave without a hefty fee especially considering their contracts still have a long way to go. Will the Los Blancos give young talent James Rodriguez another go? Can Madrid cope without Kroos commanding in midfield ? Only time will tell whether  Real will  let their prized assets leave, and if so will United be able to climb above the pack to win their signatures?
