News making rounds in Sweden claim that Haksabanovic missed Halmstad match against Helsingborg after he confirmed that he was on his way to England for trials with the red Devils.
The 16-year-old player has been the subject of transfer of many English clubs following his impressive performance since his debut for club early this year.
The highly rated midfielder is set to link up with the youth team of United. The player, per the report, had previously trained with the other English giants, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea and he is keen of trying repeating same feat at United to see if he could be accepted into their academy.
Haksabanovic expressed his desire to remain with a top club when he said:
“I’ll go there and do what I can. Of course, it’s a chance for me, but I’m still developing so I see it more as training”
Halmstad manager has openly lent his support to the youngster as he said that it would be difficult for any young player to turn down any giving opportunity to play for the likes of United.
Not forgetting, the Red Devils have taken all six points in their opening two matches of the EPL beating Tottenham and Aston Villa by a lone goal each.
