The official Twitter account of Qatari football club, El Jaish, have confirmed that Christian Benitez who sadly passed away today. Benitez, whose shirt read “Chucho”, played for Birmingham City on loan in 2009-2010. With details still unknown, it appears as though he died following a vehicle accident in Qatar.
