Chelsea Already Held Talks with Italian Manager, Abramovich Personally Involved in Meeting

Chelsea have once again been linked with Italy national manager Antonio Conte. According to Italian website Tutto Mercato Web, the Blues have already held talks with the former Juventus manager and want him to take over the club in the summer.

Along with Diego Simeone and Pep Guardiola, Conte has been heavily linked with the Blues job since the sacking of Jose Mourinho. According to latest reports, Roman Abramovich was also present during meetings.

He is currently in charge of the Italian national team and could make a return to club football after Euro Cup in summer. He won 3 back-to-back Serie A titles with Juventus and was named Serie A manager of the year on three occasions.

He has previously managed other Italian clubs such as Siena and Atlanta in his career.

As a player, he spent the majority of his career at Juventus and won five Serie A and one Champions League title with them.
