Chelsea world class shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois’ rehabilitation is going on as plan and the player is in line to return on schedule as he has been spotted running already, according to reports.
Courtois sustained a knee injury while in training for Chelsea and has been on the treatment table for several weeks beginning this season. Undoubtedly, the Blues would have missed his presence in goal after conceding several goals.
Nonetheless, as the days goes by, the Belgian stopper is gradually walking his way back to fitness after stepping up his rehabilitation. He has started running, using the indoors training facilities of Chelsea since successfully undergoing surgery.
The 23-year-old uploaded his video on his social media (instagram) page and captioned it:
Chelsea have currently conceded 19 goals in the Premier League in the absence of Courtois with Begovic being the major culprit. However, Mourinho will be looking forward to the return of Courtois especially during the festive and hectic period of the season.
Chelsea are currently wallowing in the bottom half of the Premier League log, with Jose Mourinho’s fate currently hanging in the balance. The Blues will be looking to turn the tide around.
