Chelsea Held Meeting With World Class Manager, Paul Pogba to Become his 1st Signing

Report have emerged that Antonio Conte will target £70 million move for Juventus superstar Paul Pogba if he becomes Chelsea manager. Conte brought Paul Pogba to Juventus in 2012 when he was still relatively unknown.

The Italy coach is reportedly the leading candidate for the managerial job at Stamford Bridge after reports emerged that Chelsea met with Conte and his representatives last month.

Further talks are due to take place in March with Conte eyeing a return to club management after his contract with Italy expires at the end of Euro 2016.

According to Sportmail, Conte handed a list transfer targets during their last meeting and Pogba featured in in Conte’s first choice.

Conte believes he can lure Pogba to join him at Chelsea because of the relationship they developed when working together for two years at Juventus.

During his time at Juventus, Conte won back-to-back Seria A titles and helped Pogba become on of the world’s best footballers and the France starlet even said in 2013.

If recent rumours are to be believed, his only opponent is Max Allegri, who ironically, replaced him at Juventus and also won Seria A title with Old Lady.

Chelsea were asked to speak on Antonio Conte and his star-studded wish list but refused to comment.
