Chelsea Injury News – Diego Costa Returns, Could Start Vs Swansea

Diego Costa has declared himself fit for Chelsea’s season opener against Swansea City on Saturday reports daily express. Jose Mourinho had earlier yesterday ruled out the Spaniard from the Swansea match but it seems it was all mind games ahead of the match.

Costa, 26, missed Chelsea’s clash against Arsenal in the community shield match last weekend. Mourinho was forced to play both Falcao and Remy for each half of the match. This news is surely a good news for the blues who will want to have their marksman back as Mourinho will be keen to hit the ground running. Falcao and Remy already both very good strikers, their tendency to get injured easily means they cannot totally be relied on and let’s face it, none of the duo is of the standard of Costa, forget Falcao’s past glory.
