Chelsea Make Signing 17 Goals 5 Assists Manchester United Target Top Priority For January Window

Chelsea have been woeful this season and find themselves in the 16th position on the English Premier League table and this has been partly due to their defensive errors and also largely down to the lack of goals from the team’s strikers.

So far this season, Diego Costa has been more interested in looking for trouble than looking for goals and Falcao has not been a good enough player while Loic Remy is clearly a shadow of himself at Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho has noted this problem however and is ready to solve it as Chelsea have reportedly targeted  Valencia striker Paco Alcacer as one of their top targets for the upcoming January transfer window and the Blues are said to be ready to do all in their power to get the player.

Recent reports are claiming that the Blues are also looking to sign former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez and they are ready to meet his fee of £8.5m to lure him away from the Bundesliga at Bayer Leverkusen.

Paco Alcacer may however be a more feasible target as he might welcome the move to the English League where Hernandez might not want a return. Alcacer is just 22 years old and has already scored five goals in the La Liga this season which is more than the three league goals that Costa, Falcao and Remy have between them.

Chelsea fans can only hope that the club can get such a player by January and that something good will have happened in the club before then.
