Chelsea News – £23.3m Star To Undergo Medical On Monday, Personal Terms Agreed

As the saying goes “Anything can happen in football”, so it is with the transfer market which comes with unique and unbelievable surprises. As reported by TutoSport, Chelsea may loose Willian to the Old Lady as the Italian Champions have made the aforementioned player their prime target for this summer’s transfer window if they fail to sign Draxler from Schalke.

As per the sun, Chelsea, who appear to be keenly interested in Pobga may have to settle for a swap deal that will see Willian sacrificed in other to acquire one of the brightest midfielders in the world. It is understood that Chelsea wouls bid £65million for the French maverick defensive midfielder.

Juventus appears to be rebuilding a team following the departure of Tevez and Andrea Pirlo from  Italy. Should Juve successfully pull the deal through, Willian will be playing in his fifth country. Juventus is thought to fancy his invaluable experience and desire to make him the pivot in the midfield of the team.

Willian was fantastic for Chelsea last term as they conquered England. He won 67% of his take-ons and also created the third highest number of assist, 49, behind the duo of Fabregas and Hazard. However, he only completed 90mins in six games, coming off the bench for the most part of the season.

Following Pedro’s capture from Barcelona, Willian would obviously be relegated to the bench as Pedro is expected to be given the nod on his favourite right wing position. Willian might be jumping the gun in a bid to lace his boot for Juventus.
