Chelsea On The VERGE Of Completing Transfer Of POWERFUL 6ft DM
Leicester City have made a loan bid offer for Chelsea outcast Oriol Romeu according to daily mail. Romeu has found it difficult to get first team football at the Bridge and has been loaned to Stuttgart and Valencia.
Claudio Ranieri the Leicester boss wants to loan Romeu for the coming season with a view to making the deal a permanent one if the club avoids the drop. The daily mail claims that City are finding it difficult to reach an agreement with other midfield targets, so they have chosen to move for Romeu who is reportedly looking for a new club that will guarantee regular football.
Romeu joined Chelsea from Barcelona in 2012, signing a 4year contract. He has so far made 22 appearances for the Blues, he joined Valencia on a season-long loan in 2013. Then in 2014 he put pen to paper by signing a new contract with Chelsea, keeping him at the club until 2017. But he was immediately loaned out to Stuttgart.
He is seeking stability and playing times at the moment and Leicester might just be a perfect place to get that. FFP rules also means Chelsea have to sell in other to fit in with the guidelines.
