Reports are emerging that Chelsea left back Felippe Luis could be sold. Luis who played for Atletico Madrid, has never been able to settle to life in West London – and spent a huge part of last season on the bench playing second fiddle to Cesar Aspilicueta.
Luis who is a 29 year old Brazilian international, would cost in the region of £15 million for Atletico if they want to resign their former player. Jose Mourinho, once the sale of Luiz does go through is expected to go sign Augsburg full back Abdur-Rahman Baba.
Baba who is known as a wing-back will cost in the region of £20 million. Mourinho did also sign a full back last year in Juan Cuadrado. Baba will be hoping his look fairs better than his predecessor in that position David Luiz.
Although Baba is also a target for Arsenal, it is however believed Mourinho is eager to sign the player and will do everything to ensure he beats the gunners to his signing and that includes offering the player’s club more money and the player himself more wages in order to see off the interest from Arsenal.
Should Baba join, considering the amount of money involved, he will likely be involved in the first team next season which begs the question ” what happens to Zouma”.
