Chelsea On THE VERGE Of Signing RELIABLE Arsenal Defensive Target – Not Stones

Reigning premier league champions Chelsea have been monitoring the Three Lions under 21 goalkeeper Bettinelli for months on and have finally decided to swoop in for their man. According to Times a fee of about £2.5 have been tabled and are now keen to wrap up the transfer dealings quickly. It’s not quite apparent if the under 21 goalie would remain at Stamford Bridge ‎if move is finally sealed or loaned out which nevertheless would be a quality addiction .
Mourinho knows a thing or two about the young goalie who made a first team appearance last August ‎.The Chelsea boss was surprisingly at Craven Cottage when Fulham were held by a 1-1 draw by Rotherham United last season. He is the son of Vic Bettinelli who happens to be the academy goal keeping coach at Fulham.Interesting to also know that Mourinho’s son, Jose Mario is a goal keeper with Fulhams youth team who is obviously being closely monitored by his world famous father with footballing circles to say the least.
With Peter Cech having finally departed to rivals Arsenal when it was all made clear by Mourinho he is no longer going to be his first choice goalkeeper and the acquisition of former Stoke City shot stopper Asmir Bergovic(28 years) recently, ‎it remains to to be seen wether Benttelli would be the 3rd choice goal keeper at Stamford Bridge if he is eventually signed or wether he would be shipped out on loan to another club where he could continue with his development. The goalkeeping position is quite different from the other departments on the pitch in the sense that one can bis his time knowing full well that being a second or third choice goalkeeper would only guarantee a handful of games baring any unforseen emergency goalkeeping crises triggered by a ridiculous drop in form by the first choice goal keeper or simply due to injuries.
Bettinelli would be Chelsea’s‎ third summer acquisition following the arrival of Radamel Falcao and Asmir Bergovic.
