Chelsea planning massive clear out as another striker is leaving the club in winter – not Diego Costa
A lot of players are expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window, in a massive clear out.
One notable name constantly rumoured to leave the club in the next month is of striker Loic Remy.
The French striker has been linked with moves to clubs back home as well as in Premier League. Ligue 1 club Lille are among the clubs that are interested in signing the French striker, but his current wages are proving to be a stumbling block.
French Newspaper L’Equipe reports that Lille are very interested in the player, but his €600k per month wages at Chelsea are too much for the French club.
According to the report, AS Monaco might become interested in the player as they are in need for a striker and their on-loan striker Radamel Falcao is not willing to move back to the club from his loan spell at Chelsea, before the end of the season.
