Chelsea Players Want Mourinho SACKED, Gang Up Against Portuguese
Jose Mourinho’s sack rumor may be getting intensified as there are recent reports of the players revolting at the club and this will be enough to force the hand of the club owner Roman Abramovich as he makes moves to send away the Blues manager.
The reports are claiming that it seems highly unlikely that the Blues will qualify for the European Champions League competition and the players are so unhappy with the manager as they feel they are being shortchanged. Sources say that only “a handful” of first-team players remain behind Mourinho and the rest are even ready to leave if the manager is not sacked.
Mourinho’s public and private criticism of individual star players may have led to this revolt and players like Eden Hazard, Oscar and Nemanja Matic are among the more disillusioned Blues players while sources say the dressing room has badly missed the influence of departed senior players such as Didier Drogba, Petr Cech and Frank Lampard.
The Blues’ 1-0 defeat by Stoke City in their weekend match means that they have now lost seven out of their twelve English Premier League matches this season and sit fifth from bottom on the Premiership table.
Mourinho’s conduct has also not helped and has only rubbed off on the players too with him constantly in trouble with the English FA and costing the club in fine payments.
The Portuguese’s public criticism which led to the exit of club doctor Eva Carneiro was also a public relations disaster which angered several players as she was a popular member of the backroom staff and had a relationship with several players.
We will just have to wait and see what happens with Mourinho as the season unfolds.
