Chelsea Star Declares: “The Real Chelsea is Back”

Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic feels his team mates are starting to show themselves as the “the real Chelsea” once again and has declared that he is still optimistic that the Blues can continue with their recent form they have showed during their eight-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

He explained: “This was the real Chelsea, and I believe that we can show again in the future that we deserve to play for this club. Of course we are not in a good position in the table but there are a lot of games until the end of the season and we have chance to show our quality.”

On Diego Costa, Matic said: “Diego is a great striker and the red card was a clear foul and if he passed Mertesacker he was one on one with the goalkeeper. He scored the goal so he was important for us and I am very happy for him.”

This coming Sunday the Blues will be playing against the Championship side Milton Keynes Dons in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
