Chelsea star worth £100,000-a-week reportedly moving to AS Roma this summer
Chelsea striker, Radamel Falcao, has been told he does not have a future at the club, and Roma have been quick to act, offering the striker a lifeline to save his career by giving him a chance to ply his trade in Serie A.
The former hot-shot striker at Atletico Madrid, was hoping for a fresh start to revive his career at Chelsea after his club announced recently that Italian Antonio Conte will be taking charge come this summer.
However, he has been given the all-clear to get a new club by Chelsea, having managed just a single goal so far this campaign.
Falcao’s time at Chelsea has been a frustrating one, often plagued by injuries and loss of form. His season-long loan at Manchester United last campaign was also a disappointing one.
His parent club, Monaco, are keen to cash him out to reduce their loss, having paid a massive amount to buy him from Aletico Madrid.
Roma are interested in getting him, but his £100,000-a-week wages seem to be a demand too big. Falcao, once one of the most feared striker in the world before a knee injury back in 2014, has had offers from China and the MLS.
