Chelsea target reveals transfer talks, striker will leave club in winter

Chelsea transfer target Alex Teixeira has revealed transfer talks ahead of the January Transfer Window. The Brazilian midfielder has been linked with a move to the Blues for quite some time now. The 25-year-old has also caught the eye of the likes of PSG and Juventus.

The Shakhtar Donetsk star has been in brilliant form this season and has scored 26 goals in as many outings this season.  The former Brazil U-20 international revealed: “I know that there is interest on their part. There have been talks but nothing concrete at this point. For the moment what interests me is going on holiday to Brazil, and we will see what the future holds for us.”

He has previously already confirmed that Juventus, PSG and Chelsea are in talks with the Ukrainian club regarding his transfer. He said last month: “From what I have seen and what my manager said, Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have made proposals. But Chelsea and Juventus are deeper in negotiations. They are all big clubs. Wherever I go, I’ll be happy. I have spoken to many people who play in the Premier League because I think it’s the best league in the world. It’s the most competitive and I want this challenge in my career.”

In another Chelsea update, it seems like Radamel Falcao’s spell at Stamford Bridge is coming towards a premature end. The Colombian has failed to find any kind of form for Jose Mourinho’s side during his loan spell from Monaco, and the London club are eager to cut their losses by offloading the striker in the upcoming transfer window.
Turkish publication Takvim reports that Fenerbahce are interested in his services. According to the report, Turkish Super Lig side are planning to pair the former Atletico Madrid striker with Robin Van Persie as their forward options. Falcao last played for the Blues in the league defeat against Liverpool on October 21. His only goal this season came in the defeat against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
