Loic Remy Leaving Chelsea

Chelsea to Seal Deal for French Striker, Transfer to be Done before Deadline

Premier League leaders Leicester City have entered the race to sign Chelsea striker Loic Remy. French publication L’Equipe reports that they have registered their interest in the wantaway Blues striker.

Leicester are ready to sign the striker on a permanent deal and are ready to bid £7.5m for the 29-year old. Remy is keen on a move away from Stamford Bridge as he is searching for a club where he can get regular playing opportunities ahead of the Euro Cup in summer.

The Foxes are in search for striker after releasing Andrej Kramaric on a loan deal to Hoffenheim earlier this month.

They have also been linked with a move for CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia in the past.

Meanwhile, they have now joined Swansea, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Spartak Moscow in the pursuit of Chelsea striker.

Crystal Palace have just signed Emmanuel Adebayor and they are expected to give up on their pursuit of Remy.
