Chelsea striker Loic Remy has been out of form his season and has scored just one league goal. He has been linked with a loan move to a number of clubs, and Hiddink won’t like to depend on him to lead the Chelsea’s attacking lines if Costa is ruled out for a considerable amount of time.
Recent team to have been linked with Remy are Russian club Spartak Moscow.
The report comes from a Russian website Vesti.ru, and it claims that the Russian club are interested in signing the player on a permanent deal, instead of a loan move.
A deal is already in the pipelines, and a transfer fee of 10 million euros has reportedly been agreed between the two clubs.
A permanent deal will suit Chelsea’s interest. However, Remy might be inclined towards a move closer to home.
Spartak are currently placed fourth in the Russian Premier League.
