Chelsea Trying to Sign Goalkeeper but Facing Competition From Leicester, Aston Villa and Sunderland
Chelsea have been delivered a setback in their pursuit of Hajduk Split goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic. Italian source Calciomercato claims that the Serie A club Lazio have completed the signing of the Croatian goalkeeper.
But other sources are not confirming this. Chelsea have been reported to be interested in the 25-year old, but face competition from Leicester, Aston Villa and Sunderland.
Kalinic has signed for Lazio for a reported fee of just €5 million (£3.7m), and he will join the club in the next summer. He has made two appearances for the national side, and he was also a reported target of Aston Villa boss Remi Garde.
