Chelsea have appointed Guus Hiddink today as the first-team manager till the end of the season. But the big question remains: who will the club appoint in the summer?
According to Daily Mail, Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is interested in joining the Blues in the summer. The 45-year-old has been a real success with Atletico as he has led them to Europa League, Copa Del Rey and La Liga titles since his arrival in 2011.
The Report states that the Argentinean is interested in the job at Stamford Bridge and is willing to talk to the club.
Simeone has a £15 million release clause in his current contract, which according to the report won’t be a hindrance for the Blues. The Mail further adds that Simeone will arrive with his right-hand man, German Burgos, who speaks fluent English, to help him out in Premier League.
