Club Agree To Pay £30m For 21 Goals In 20 Games Who Confirms He Is Off To England

Following his admittance to want a move to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are preparing a £30 million bid  for Brazil international and Shakhtar Donetsk free-scoring midfielder Alex Texeira, this is according to the Express. Texeira joined the Ukrainian outfit Shakhtar from Vasco da Gama in 2009. He steadily grew in influence and importance following his consistent impressive cameos for Shakhtar. He has since won the heart of Chelsea’s owner Roman Abramovich.

Having impressed this season, Abramovich has given go-ahead to Chelsea to sign the Brazilian and Chelsea will attempt a £30 million deal for him. He will not be eligible to feature for Chelsea in the Champions league if he makes the move in January as he has already featured for Shakhtar but he can still spare Chelsea Champions league spot with his eyes for goal.

Chelsea need for goals cannot be overly emphasized. The attackers of Chelsea have been misfiring bar Willian who has been vindicated himself with his inch-perfect free kicks. Willian was team mate of Texeira before he left for Russia and both players will be keen on a reunion.

Chelsea are currently wallowing in 14th position on the Premier league log and Champions league qualification already looks nearly impossible as they are 12 points adrift fourth place. If they sign some players in January, their season can be saved.
