Club to announce signing of sensational winger, personal terms agreed, medical planned

Recent reports from Turkey and from the British media are making strong claims that Liverpool are very close to signing Galatasaray star winger Kevin Grosskreutz and will announce him as their first January signing. The 27-year-old has been targeted by new Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp since his arrival and he might be ready to link up with the player again as he has once coached him when he was at Dortmund.

Liverpool manager Klopp has seen that he will need a lot of reinforcements if he wants to make the change at Anfield and maybe get Liverpool back to the top four in the English Premier League. The Reds need players in virtually every department on the field especially with the injuries they have at the moment which might hurt their chances in a big way but Turkish newspaper Takvim are making claims that the 27-year-old super winger has agreed personal terms with Liverpool and will be joining the club in January.

The winger was signed by Galatasaray in the summer transfer window but the Turkish giants were not able to complete the player’s transfer because they could not submit the required documents to FIFA on time so the player has not been able to feature for Galatasaray and will definitely not be able to play for them until the January transfer window but the player might not be willing to take the chance but might prefer to move away to Liverpool in the January transfer window.

It remains to be seen if Galatasaray will allow the move to be completed before then.
