Premier League club Tottenham have joined the long list of interested clubs in Chelsea striker Loic Remy.
According to Sunday People, the North London club want to sign the player on loan to provide backup to Harry Kane. Spurs are currently placed fourth in the Premier League table and are very much in the race to finish in the top four places at the end of the season.
The report claims that this might prove a hindrance in Spurs’ chase of the striker as the Blues don’t want to strengthen their direct opponent in the league.
He has managed only one league start for the Blues this season and has scored one league in eight appearances.
Leicester, Aston Villa, Everton, Sunderland, Newcastle and France club Lille are other clubs interested in the services of the 29-year old.
