Falcao Leaving Chelsea in January

Club’s Vice-president Speaks on £145,000-a-week Superstar Signing

Monaco vice-president has ruled out cutting short the loan spell of striker Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian is currently on a season-long loan at Stamford Bridge. He is currently nursing an injury and has been linked with a move back to his parent club Monaco.

However French club’s vice-president has ruled out that option by claiming that 29-year-old needs to return to fitness before any decision can be taken regarding his future.

Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev said in an interview on the club’s DailyMotion page: “Falcao is currently injured. He has six to eight weeks to go like that. We have decided not to take him back to Monaco for the moment.”

Falcao has managed to score just one goal during his spell with the Blues.
