CONFIRMED – £120,000-A-Week Madrid Target Will Play For Man United This Season

Guillem Ballague may have succeeded in getting Manchester United fans hopes up after claiming that Manchester United had won the transfer battle with Real Madrid over Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea. The Sports Journalist who writes for Spanish newspaper AS has stated that the negotiations between Real Madrid and Manchester United that have been going on for months have not been progressive.

Ballague went on further to say that David De Gea will continue to be a Manchester United player next season and will not be making a transfer to Real Madrid next season. The David De Gea transfer saga has been on even before the 2014/2015 season ended and is showing no signs of coming to a conclusion in coming days. Many papers have been claiming that the Spaniard is very close to joining Real Madrid for months now but it seems no one really knows the current situation of things.

The Red Devils will count themselves lucky if they can manage to ward Real Madrid away and keep David De Gea at the club for the season. The Spaniard was a key player for Manchester United last season as they regained their place among the elites in Europe. However Guillem Ballague reports cannot be trusted and I don’t expect his reports to start being trustworthy now.

The Journalist’s track record of false reports leaves little room to believe whatever he says. Ballague has gotten too many transfer reports wrong  and cannot be trusted. The Sports Journalist claimed in the past that Alonso will not go to Bayern, Ozil will not join Arsenal, Di Maria will not go to PSG, Sanchez will go to Liverpool and many other false reports.

Undoubtedly David De Gea will be instrumental for United as they aim for a top two finish and a major trophy this season but however, it would be wise for United fans to not read much into what Balague says and hope for the best. Manchester United will still remain Manchester United no matter the outcome of the transfer.
