Confirmed: Arsenal Set to Sign a 20 Goals in 35 Matches Striker

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is looking to add more personnel to his striker force in the summer transfer window.

According to the latest report from Daily Mirror, the Gunners are keeping tabs on Watford striker Odion Ighalo and are expected to make a summer move for him.

The Nigerian international has attracted interests from a number of major clubs with his goalscoring form this season. The 26-year old has scored 14 goals in 26 league appearances for the Hornets this season.

Watford will be tempted to sell their striker if they receive a bid in the region of £20 million for their star player. Besides Arsenal, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are also interested in the striker.

Meanwhile, Watford have already started preparing for the eventual departure of their striker. They are currently looking at Granada striker Isaac Success as a potential replacement and will make a move for him in the summer.

Ighalo signed for Watford on an initial loan deal from Udinese in July, 2014. Later that season, the Hornets turned the deal into a permanent one.

He played an integral part in the club’s promotion to Premier League by scoring 20 goals in 35 league appearances in Championship last season. According to latest reports, Arsenal is keen to seal a pre-agreement with the striker within next weeks.
