CONFIRMED – Arsenal To Sign 2-3 Players, Striker Deal Very CLOSE

Varying reports are linking Arsenal to the signing of some unnamed players. The reports claim that Arsenal are still in the market and are looking to sign two or three players before the window slams shut.

However, Italian journalist, Emanuele Giulianelli has revealed that the Gunners are definitely interested in the services of several stars but a quality defensive midfielder is top of the priority list for the North London club.

The Italian revealed this on twitter where he tweeted, ” For the many of you that are asking me if Arsenal are interested in 2/3 players. Priority a DM, there is a chance they will buy only him “.

Arsenal have had a relatively quiet summer transfer window with the only major addition being Petr Cech who was signed from London rivals Chelsea. The signing of the world class veteran goal keeper was heralded by the fan base as fantastic business but the fans appear to be craving more before the end of the transfer window. They feel the club should strengthen so as not to be left behind in the window with Premier League rivals announcing one marquee signing after the other.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with Sevilla’s Polish defensive midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak who was voted the best defensive midfielder in La Liga ahead of Barcelona’s Sergio Busquet. The Gunners see the combative Krychowiak as an addition that will not only bolster their midfield options but provide competition for Francis Coquelin and most importantly add much needed steel to their mostly silky midfield.
