The Sun claims that Man City have joined the chase for Chelsea star Eden Hazard. According to recent reports, Real Madrid, PSG and Man Utd have already expressed their interest in the services of the 25-year-old.
The report claims that Man City will ask their Belgian stars Vincent Kompany and Kevin De Bruyne to influence Hazard into joining the Citizens.
Hazard is valued at £80 million, and the Blues will have a fight on their hands to keep the Belgian at Samford Bridge if they fail to secure Champions League football for the next season. The West London club are currently placed 14th in the league table, 13 points behind fourth-placed Tottenham.
However, Hazard’s father recently claimed that his son is solely focussed on helping the Blues in the second half of the season.
“Eden is completely focused on Chelsea,” Thierry Hazard told Het Nieuwsblad. “He still has ambition. Winning the title is complicated, but to finish in the top three is still possible.”
