Confirmed from Multiple Reputable Sources: United Found Louis Van Gaal Replacement, not Mourinho

Following the announcement of summer arrival of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, Manchester United have sprung into action.

Various reports have claimed that United board has started searching for Louis Van Gaal’s replacement and Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is emerging as the club’s primary option to take over the club in summer.

The Argentinean manager has impressed during his time in Premier League. He first established Southampton as a force to reckoned with in the League, which led to his appointment at Tottenham.

Pochettino has transformed Tottenham during his two seasons with the club. He has promoted a number of academy players and has concentrated on acquiring young talents.

His approach has worked considerably for the North London club as they currently sit fourth in the table, five points behind the leaders Leicester City.

Betting odds on Pochettino taking over at Old Trafford in summer have also tumbled down during the last 24 hours. According to reports, his odds have slashed from 100/1 to 10/1 after a flurry of bets during the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, problems for manager Louis Van Gaal don’t seem to subside. Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has taken a shot at Van Gaal’s side ahead of the Saints trip to Arsenal.
“It’s a different test because football-wise, attacking-wise, to stop Arsenal is more difficult than, with all the respect, to stop Manchester United,” the Manchester Evening News quotes Koeman as saying.

The Saints defeated Man Utd 1-0 at Old Trafford last week.
