CONFIRMED – Man City Target Confirms He has Signed For Arsenal, Five Years Deal Sealed

France Under-18 International Ismael Bennacher has signed a five year deal with London club Arsenal. The highly rated French player snubbed Manchester City to sign with Arsenal after being linked to a number of clubs. After signing with the club the 18 year old said Bennacer said: “I was a little worried in my head about going abroad. I have never left home before, I thought about staying in France in order to accumulate game time too… (Arsenal is) the most French of the English clubs.“That is what made me a little scared at the beginning, but when I saw the condition of the training centre, I realised that there isn’t a better place for me to progress. “It is up to me to prove myself, they gave me a five year contract so they must have confidence in me.”

The 18 year old played just one season for AC Arles-Avignon in France’s Ligue 2, where he made six appearances for the first team before joining Arsenal on a five year deal. Although Arsenal has not yet confirmed the deal, Arles-Avignon president Jean-Jacques Salager confirmed that Bennacer had decided to join Arsenal.

Speaking to a French paper he said “He had the choice between Chelsea and Arsenal, and contact went well with Arsene Wenger, it seems it is a good choice. It proves he leads with his head despite all that has been offered.” The 18 year old is expected to feature for Arsenal Under 18 and Under 21 team when his move is finally completed. The French youngster will be hoping to make a name for himself as a hot prospect like the likes of Akpom, Gnabry , Jeff Reine-Adelaide and others
