Cristiano Ronaldo’s mum provides revealing info on Man Utd transfer speculation

The world renowned superstar has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu, with former club Manchester United and French champions Paris Saint-Germain keen on him. However, according to his mother, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently happy at Real Madrid and is planning to finish his career at the Spanish club.

Ronaldo, who spent six glorious years at Old Trafford after joining from Sporting Lisbon as a teenager in 2003, had won eight major trophies, including the Champions League, before leaving for Spain in a world-record fee back in 2009.

Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, believes his son is still enjoying his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, and feels he would be happy to remain there. She was speaking at the launch of her new autobiography, “Cristiano is happy here, he would like to finish his career at Real Madrid.”

When asked if Cristiano should agree to be rested or subbed off during games to get enough rest, she laughed that her son had inherited her ‘strong character’.

She added, “Ronaldo is a person who always wants more. He is like his mother. He has a strong personality, he is very proud and he always demands more. This is his worst defect.”

His club is currently still in the race for top spot in Spanish Liga while contesting for a final spot in the Champions League against Manchester City in the semi-finals.
