Juventus are reportedly set for crunch talks to decide whether to move for Schalke’s Julian Draxler or not. The 21 year old who is also heavily linked to Arsenal has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Italian giants but however Juventus are still yet to decide on finalising the deal for Draxler.
If Juventus eventually decide to move for the German, he is expected to cost Juventus around 22 million pounds. Despite the 21 year old’s encounter with numerous injuries, he is still widely regarded as a top prospect and has been tipped with a move to a major club in Europe in the near future. Juventus hesitation to complete the deal for Julian Draxler could mean the Italian side might have lost interest in signing the German.
The defending Serie A champions have just recently signed Juan Cuadrado who can play the same roles as Julian Draxler and a move for the German would just turn out to be a luxury rather than a need. However nobody would be pleased as much as Arsenal over the Juventus hesitation to sign Julian Draxler.
The Gunners have been heavily linked to Draxler and were behind Juventus in pecking order to sign the 21 year old but Juventus hesitation gives Arsenal the chance to hijack the deal for the German. Julian Draxler’s versatility and great technical ability is said to have attracted the North London club who are very much interested in luring the 21 year old to Emirates. Arsenal could have just been handed a ‘miracle boost’ with just few days to go in the transfer window.
