Lingard New Contract

Club To Announce Signing Of High Rated Winger In Days, Will Earn £50,000-A-Week

Manchester United are on the verge of rewarding their youngster and England international Jesse Lingard with an improved contract. This follows from his impressive cameos for the Old Trafford landlords, pre reports. Lingard joined Manchester United as a minor and ascended the grades of the youth academy. The 22-year-old broke into the senior team of United in 2012 but was loaned to several Championship clubs including Leicester City and Derby County.

However, he returned to Old Trafford in the summer but struggled for a place in the first team. The poor form of Depay and injuries to some of the attacker meant he was given a chance and the youngster has shown whenever he plays. He scored his first senior goal for United earlier this month against West Bromwich Albion.

Lingard, 22, currently earns £25,000-per-week but the new deal will see him take home £50,000-per-week. His impressive show-offs have also seen him earn a call up to England national team by Roy Hudson.

The Daily Star is in the claim that the player is one of Van Gaal’s favourite and they see him as one of the brightest future of the team. Lingard was a key player for United last weekend in their win over Watford and even after last draw in the Champions League, the expectation on him was high.
