Deal Of The Summer? Manchester Set To Complete Transfer Of €60m Star

After just one season in the English league, Manchester United’s record signing, Angel Di Maria is being linked with a move to French giants, Paris Saint-Germain this summer. However, the former Madrid player is believed to be holding out for a higher wage in the region of €3-million-a-year, which would take his earning €18 million.

The former Madrid man has failed to live up to expectation since joining the club last summer. It now appears like his time at the Old Trafford is up, as Louis van Gaal is now rebuilding his team, with a couple of players set to join the former champions in the next couple of weeks.

Bundesliga sides, Bayern Munich are also reportedly keen on signing the Argentine, according to Goal. However, Le10 Sport reports that both PSG and Di Maria are believed to be nearing an agreement. The transfer fee is said to be in the region of €60 million.

The wage difference is the only reason why the transfer has not yet been completed, with the player believed to be holding out for the extra €3 million from his current fee.

Despite not enjoying the best of seasons, the Argentine remains one of the most sort-after players in Europe, with lots of top clubs queuing up for his signature. The Daily Mail also reports that the player is also attracting interest from current La Liga champions, Barcelona, with the Spanish giants prepared to splash out a whopping £60 million to secure his signing this summer.
