DONE – Chelsea Target Signs For Manchester United, Four Years Deal Signed

This past week, Manchester United have focused more on youngsters’ signings, with several youth talents extending their deals at the club including midfielder Josh Harrop and goalkeeper Joel Perreira.

Meanwhile, another young Red Devils has apparently put pen to paper on a new deal with United. Promising midfielder Sean Goss has signed a new four-year deal, committing his future to Man United until 2019, as per Express.

Goss, who was surprisingly included in Manchester United’s 26-man squad that went on a pre-season tour to the US, announced the news on his personal Instagram account.

“Happy to have extended my future with #mufc,” Goss wrote.

“Hopefully more good times ahead.”

Although the Germany-born 19-year old midfielder is still a midfield tyro, he has been likened to 34-year midfield ace Michael Carrick.

United’s Under-21 manager Warren Joyce was full of praises for Goss, after the player earned a call-up to the senior squad.

“He’s a dependable lad and has got it all sorted when the ball comes to him with his pass selection,” the manager said.

“His technique is good and he’s really worked hard.

“He had an opportunity to train with the manager and he must have done something to catch the eye.”

Goss made his debut for the United first team in the pre-season friendly defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, who recently snapped Angel Di Maria from the Premier League club. His excellent performances for the Under-21 team has made him continue training with the first team throughout the Red Devils’ brilliant start to the Premier League campaign.

Goss follows in the footsteps of other young talents Harrop, Perreira, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Mathew Willock who have also extended their contracts at the Theatre of Dreams.
