The EPL defending champions are busy in the transfer market, not just looking to add quality but to build quality and secure a bright future for themselves.
The Blues official websites have confirmed that youngster Nathan Ake would join Watford on loan and the player has expressed his delight and said he is already looking forward to an exciting spell with the newly promoted Premier League club.
The impressive youngster joined the Blues from Feyenoord in 2011 and has had a different experience from other youngsters, in that; he has spent most of his time at Stamford Bridge with the first team of Chelsea.
This has allowed him share same status with Legendary John terry as a home grown player.
Ake spoke to the press on his arrival to Watford. In his excitement, he pridefully stated that he was good enough and that is why manager Quique Sanchez Florez picked him.
He said: ‘I’m really excited because I’ve been waiting for this, to get on-loan and play a lot of games, and Watford have given me this opportunity,”
He further said that “He [Flores] told me he had young players when he was at other clubs, like Koke at Atletico Madrid, and he said age doesn’t matter to him, he’ll play you if you’re ready.
“I was really impressed with him, we had a good chat and he made me feel welcome straight away.”
Chelsea fans will definitely be watching out for the youngster and expects that he comes good in the long run for Chelsea as the player is expected to come back and be a part of the Blues future.
He is expected to feature in Watford’s match against Southampton this coming weekend.
